Die Auseinandersetzung mit urbanen Transformationsprozessen sind ein fester Bestandteil in Christof Zwieners künstlerischem Werk.
Dabei bezieht er sich auf die Vorstellung der Überlagerung von Zeiten. Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft sind hier unmittelbar mit
einem Gegenstand, einem Gebäude oder einem Ort verknüpft.
Zwiener arbeitet bewusst mit diesen objekt-oder ortsspezifischen Aspekten, die beinahe aus der öffentlichen Wahrnehmung
entschwunden sind und somit kulturell unsichtbar erscheinen. Ihnen eine neue, aber temporäre Wahrnehmung zu verleihen und für die
Allgemeinheit sichtbarer zu machen, ist sein zentrales künstlerisches Anliegen.
Die Arbeit 'Black Box' liest sich wie eine Projektion - eine Art Vision über das geheimnisvolle Innere des Ausstellungsraums Praline.
Beinahe forensisch wird ein Bereich der Spezialarchitektur geöffnet, der zwar schon immer präsent, für das Auge und die Wahrnehmung
jedoch unsichtbar blieb. Der Künstler arbeitete sich durch Decken und Böden des Gebäudes und die Betrachter*innen können so durch
mehrere historische Oberflächen tauchen. Christof Zwiener geht es dabei nicht ausschließlichum ein visuelles Erlebnis,
sondern um das Offenlegen von Geschichtsräumen, die von der verschwundenen DDR erzählen können.
Der Kunstraum Praline schließt nach 12 Jahren. Lasst uns das gemäß unserer Haustradition mit Sekt und Pralinen würdigen.
Wir sind während des lindeNOW-Festivals durchgehend vor Ort und freuen uns sehr über zahlreiche Besucher*innen!!!
Das Gebäude wird ab November von neuen Akteur*innen weiter betrieben, wir sind gespannt auf den Neustart und den neuen Namen.

Dealing with urban transformation processes is an integral part of Christof Zwiener's artistic work. In doing so, he refers to the idea of overlapping
times layers. The past, present and future are directly linked to an object, a building or a place.
Zwiener consciously works with these object- or site-specific aspects that have almost disappeared from public perception and thus seem
culturally invisible. Giving them a new but temporary perception and making it more visible to the general public is his central artistic approach.
The work 'Black Box' is like a projection - a sort of vision - over the mysterious interior of the exhibition space Praline.
An area of this special architecture is opened - almost forensically -, and displays what has always been present,
but remained invisible to the eye and perception. The artist worked his way through the ceilings and floors of the building for the viewer to
dive through several layers of history.
Christof Zwiener is not only interested in a visual experience, but also in revealing historical spaces that can tell of the vanished GDR.
The Praline art space closes after 12 years. According to our tradition, let us pay tribute with champagne and chocolates.
We are continuously on site during the lindeNOW festival and are very happy to see numerous visitors!
The building will continue to be used by new members from November on, we are looking forward to the new start and the new name.

Die Auseinandersetzung mit urbanen Transformationsprozessen sind ein fester Bestandteil in Christof Zwieners künstlerischem Werk.
Dabei bezieht er sich auf die Vorstellung der Überlagerung von Zeiten. Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft sind hier unmittelbar mit
einem Gegenstand, einem Gebäude oder einem Ort verknüpft.
Zwiener arbeitet bewusst mit diesen objekt-oder ortsspezifischen Aspekten, die beinahe aus der öffentlichen Wahrnehmung
entschwunden sind und somit kulturell unsichtbar erscheinen. Ihnen eine neue, aber temporäre Wahrnehmung zu verleihen und für die
Allgemeinheit sichtbarer zu machen, ist sein zentrales künstlerisches Anliegen.
Die Arbeit 'Black Box' liest sich wie eine Projektion - eine Art Vision über das geheimnisvolle Innere des Ausstellungsraums Praline.
Beinahe forensisch wird ein Bereich der Spezialarchitektur geöffnet, der zwar schon immer präsent, für das Auge und die Wahrnehmung
jedoch unsichtbar blieb. Der Künstler arbeitete sich durch Decken und Böden des Gebäudes und die Betrachter*innen können so durch
mehrere historische Oberflächen tauchen. Christof Zwiener geht es dabei nicht ausschließlichum ein visuelles Erlebnis,
sondern um das Offenlegen von Geschichtsräumen, die von der verschwundenen DDR erzählen können.
Der Kunstraum Praline schließt nach 12 Jahren. Lasst uns das gemäß unserer Haustradition mit Sekt und Pralinen würdigen.
Wir sind während des lindeNOW-Festivals durchgehend vor Ort und freuen uns sehr über zahlreiche Besucher*innen!!!
Das Gebäude wird ab November von neuen Akteur*innen weiter betrieben, wir sind gespannt auf den Neustart und den neuen Namen.

Dealing with urban transformation processes is an integral part of Christof Zwiener's artistic work. In doing so, he refers to the idea of overlapping
times layers. The past, present and future are directly linked to an object, a building or a place.
Zwiener consciously works with these object- or site-specific aspects that have almost disappeared from public perception and thus seem
culturally invisible. Giving them a new but temporary perception and making it more visible to the general public is his central artistic approach.
The work 'Black Box' is like a projection - a sort of vision - over the mysterious interior of the exhibition space Praline.
An area of this special architecture is opened - almost forensically -, and displays what has always been present,
but remained invisible to the eye and perception. The artist worked his way through the ceilings and floors of the building for the viewer to
dive through several layers of history.
Christof Zwiener is not only interested in a visual experience, but also in revealing historical spaces that can tell of the vanished GDR.
The Praline art space closes after 12 years. According to our tradition, let us pay tribute with champagne and chocolates.
We are continuously on site during the lindeNOW festival and are very happy to see numerous visitors!
The building will continue to be used by new members from November on, we are looking forward to the new start and the new name.
